Overview
The Kaethotic Singularities are points in Kaethos where fourth-dimensional travel is possible by means of Long Chronomancy. They are openings in the fractal of spacetime — an opportunity to bend the path of the world toward True Ekalian, toward True Orůvian, or to balance it toward True Medinian.
Their power lies in shortcut. Whoever controls a Singularity can tip the path without travelling the full 1,000-year dispensation — seizing in a single stroke what would otherwise demand an entire loop around the circle of time. This is precisely why the Orůvian and Ekalian powers are locked in eternal conflict over them: each seeks to claim the Singularities and force the world toward its own extreme.
The Singularities are tied to the oscillation of Kaethos’s positive and negative spin within the fractal of spacetime — the same swing between poles embodied by Orů and Tlas Ekal. To hold a Singularity is to hold a hand upon the pendulum itself.
