Overview

Orů, “The Golden Dawn,” is the banner and guiding principle of the Oruvian Gods — the light-aligned half of the Kaethos pantheon and the positive boson in the cosmic oscillation between good and evil. The Oruvian pole pulls Kaethos toward the True Oruvian path: Oruel’s utopia of pure good. Its King is the Sun, Oruel; its Queen is the light of the moon, Selûne, who through her sister Shar keeps a single door open to the dark gods of Tlas Ekal.

Bound Location — Eritessa

Orů is also a physical, Kaethos-bound location on the continent of Eritessa — the single anchor-site where the Oruvian gods tie themselves to the material world. It is the epicenter of every Oruvian ley line, the lines of power that radiate out from Orů to circle the whole map of Kaethos. (Where the Oruvians anchor at one point, the Ekalians anchor at two — Tlas Ekal on Opsis and Nagol on Krios.) The crossing of these Oruvian and Ekalian ley lines is where the world’s veil tears are born.
