The six beast-folk generals of the Lycorisian army
Six head generals, each a different beast-folk, march at the head of an elven host that hunts the very kin they resemble. Their name is also the elves’ guarded garden — where animalia were once stalked for sport and stuffed for trophies. To wear a beast’s face in the Menagerie is to lead the hunt against your own.

Overview
The Menagerie is the body of six beast-folk head generals who command the army of The House of Lycoris — one each of Harengon, Owlin, Loxodon, Tortle, Leonin, and Kenku/Tabaxi.
The name “the Menagerie” also belongs to the elves’ guarded hunting-garden in Greenport, where animalia were historically hunted for sport and taxidermy. The two meanings are bound together: the generals who lead the hunt share the name of the garden where the hunted were once kept.
The Menagerie was seen leading the Fall of Greenport. Among its number: a seven-foot blood-magic Harengon general, a purple-eyed snow-owl (Owlin) general whose arrows fly silent, and Kral, the Tortle general who infiltrated the city disguised as Greenport’s High Cleric of Gog before being killed by the party.
