The Four Horsemen of the Zenpocalypse
Zen’s resurrected, mutilated former adventuring party — and, in a meta-reveal, the players’ own characters from a previous campaign. Mind-controlled by infernal runes, they are the elite enemies of the Forgotten Hour.

Overview
The Four Horsemen are the tragic core of The Forgotten Hour: Zen’s old party, killed and resurrected as grafted monsters and enslaved by infernal runes (conducted by Laurence Shâdos’s chant). The campaign’s big meta-reveal (Ch 0.2) is that they’re the players’ former-campaign PCs, and that all of it traces to Gog’s deal-with-the-devil and the Well of Souls.
Fates
- Laurence Shâdos — Tiefling cleric → devil; disintegrated to “Cheeto dust.”
- Krengrum — Half-Orc rogue (potter); the one whose death started Zen’s necromancy.
- Yerlin — emo blood hunter; killed himself.
- Kava Bacia — Dragonborn paladin; spared, the last living dragonborn, loose in the planes.
