Overview
The Host believe “the time of isolation is over” — that El Cinede should trade and communicate with the surface, and (per Turgar’s doctrine) ascend toward the higher celestial plane with the people below rather than alone. They become the party’s faction by alliance: Mars Von Eck (their orator), Digby Blatherington, Blossom, and Turgar all help the party against the Crew.
Victory
After the party hands Mars Fauna Kneeler’s genocidal diary and stops her in the finale, the Host win the parliamentary vote — no invasion, and trade with Kouréas to follow.
