Legally Trivarius Bjornegar Dik (“D-I-K — no one can ever mispronounce it”), TBD for short: an aging Goliath rock star and Evocation wizard who casts every spell through his guitar, refuses to acknowledge any Metallica after Master of Puppets, and is the only soul alive who remembers all the music lost in The Forgotten Hour.

Overview
TBD is a 7-foot, white-bearded, glamour-muscled (STR 12, +1) classic-rock purist who thinks he’s still a star — “Fat Thor” on the pathway to has-been. His magic literally comes out of his guitar, and his cardinal rule is that rock is rooted in 4/4 time. He’s a one-man special-effects department (Thunderwave-rocketing, guitar-smashing zombie dogs, lightning solos) and, from Chapter 2 on, the person behind the DM screen.
Story
Backstory
- The music memory: canonically the one person who retains all pre-apocalypse music (“like Yesterday”) — implying most of it was lost in The Forgotten Hour.
- Killasaurus: his rock band (AC/DC-meets-Van Halen), summoned to the Battle of the Bands in Magus — the hook that launches Chapter 2.
Chapter 1 Arc
- The arena: smashes his guitar clean through a zombie dog’s neck (Ch 1.2).
- Honey, I Shrunk the Wizard: shrinks to ~8%, surfs a frozen vial down a sewer soloing, regrows but “forgets his legs,” and finds the Tablet of Tablature (Ch 1.4).
- The hand-off: at the finale, the GM passes him the screen — “Chris, you’re next for the DM” (Ch 1.7 → Ch 2.1).
Chapter 2 Arc — The Dreamer
Though Chris now runs the table, TBD is the secret heart of Chapter 2. Real name Treverius, he found a forbidden Chronomancy spellbook on an altar in the Swollen Wastes — and made the mistake of telling Wolfgang about it. Wolfgang used the Dreamcatcher to summon the Dreamweaver and delivered the sleeping TBD into a dream-loop as a bargain (the wraith, and Zen above it, want the book).
- The entire Battle of the Bands is the loop inside TBD’s sleeping mind; he appears as a white-eyed puppet fronting Killasaurus.
- His field-study scrolls, each marked with a Goliath rune, spell out Lilith — his dead wife, the Blood Witch.
- He is freed in Ch 2.9 when his guitar Bophades materializes and a single chord breaks the loop; the party then helps him destroy the Dreamweaver and recover the chronomancy book.
