The apocryphal scripture of The Church of ITYS, written by Father ITYS
The apocryphal companion to the canonical Book of ITYS. Pulled by Xeros in ch3.5 among his acquired library books (studied for the History-of-the-Church exam). There isn’t much of it — but unlike the Book, it was never revised, so it may be the more accurate record.
In comparative hermeneutics, this is the text students set against the canonical scriptures to find contradictions: Xeros repeatedly cites “facts” from the Echoes that professors and others contradict — precisely because the official canon was revised while the Echoes were left untouched.
The campaign/arc Echoes of ITYS is named for this text. Not to be confused with ITYS Echoes, Foulclaw’s magical headphones.
